It’s time to shine those hard-to-reach spots in your practice!
Remove nasty stress buildup, avoid creeping apathy,
and increase smile lines! Prevent “GLUM DIS-EASE” by
removing the plaque of pressure and the stains of stress!

Polishing Your Practice

Don’t just polish the surface of your team’s performance;
teach them how to clean down to the roots. Discontent and
disengagement are unhealthy deposits, but easily rinsed away
with a swish of increased awareness. Whether it is oral health
or the health of your practice, education is the key.

>Remember your team’s importance in the personal side of patient (and co-worker) service
>Break away from the “acceptable levels of service” paradigm
>Realize the importance and process for recovering from a perceived level of dis-service
>Recognize the lifetime value of a patient
>Understand the importance of humor and laughter in improving the workplace and
enhancing the patient’s own pain relieving powers
>Experience miscommunication, and be reminded of the skills for communicating both
intellectually and emotionally
>Relearn the negative impace of the three Rs (Resist-Resent-Revenge)
>Learn through adapting non-traditional, non-healthcare examples
>Laugh, giggle or smile (at least once!)
